Maori Legends - Maui and Te Ra

We had lots of fun creating our own picture of Te Ra (the Sun). We had to use an art pencil to draw the sun red, gold, orange and yellow pastels to outline the work and then dye the sun.

Making Letterboxes


As part or our Communication unit we had to design and create a letterbox.

School Cross Country

On Wednesday 31st August all the children went to Burrs farm to run in the annual school Cross Country.

Everyone in Room One had been training for this, running around the big field. Mrs Stuck was very proud of all her students. They all ran their race with enthusiasm and it was great to see their happy faces at the end of their race.
